Our Team Works with You Every Step

Downsizing your life and moving can be scary if you haven't done it. We do this every day. Our process helps you identify the things you love and get rid of the things that don't have meaning to you. Our white glove service works with you from the beginning through the end.

Our Mission  is to help our clients overcome the overwhelm and stress of a downsize move, and to recreate a smaller living space that feels like home while being safe and clutter-free. 

Step 1: Complimentary Consulation

The First Step in the process we schedule a visit at our clients’ home to understand their needs and the scope of the move management project. This helps us to understand your needs and expectations.


We want to get to know you and what is important to you so that we can tailor our estimate and service to your needs.

Step 2: Estimate and Agreement

At this point we create a customized estimate that covers all costs involved in accomplishing the clients’ goals.


If everyone agrees, it is signed and a $500-$1000 deposit is collected to allow us to begin the project. This deposit is credited towards the final invoice.


Once the agreement is signed our team begins to prepare for the next step scheduling time to begin working with you to Downsize and Declutter.

Step 3: Downsizing/Decluttering

At this step helping our clients make good decisions about what to keep and what to let go of is the first and most important part of our mission!


Using our color-coded sorting system, we guide you through a process in a way that honors your collections and memories while helping you let go of things that do not have as much meaning.

Step 4: Move Management

Once we have determined what you will be taking with you we are ready to plan your move.


We measure furniture, create a custom digital floor plan, arrange for haulers, donations, movers and many other details involved in making a downsize move.


We take care of things for you so all you have to do is focus on your new life and prepare yourself for the move.

Step 5: Pack Day

Once the move date has been set, our downsizing team will arrive the day before to professionally pack and label items being moved.


You don't have to worry. Our team are professionals and will treat your treasures like their own.


We follow CDC covid guidelines to keep you and our team safe. 

Step 6: Unpack and Set-Up

Imagine leaving your old home in the morning and walking into your new home that same evening with all the boxes unpacked, everything put away with your preferences in mind, your bed made and all the boxes gone?!


We strive to create this experience for each of our clients so they can start living their rightsized lifestyle right away! (Some limitations apply)

Step 7: Liquidation Management

Once you are settled in your new home it is time for us to find the best homes for everything you aren't moving. This includes coordinating estate sales, consignment, auction galleries, art dealers, junk haulers, liquidators, donation centers or shipping gifted items to relatives.


We try to honor your wishes about where your belongings are going.

Step 8: Home Prep/Sale

If you would like we will clean out the home, arrange for repairs, stage and prepare the home to attract the most buyers.


We partner with real estate professionals who specialize in working with downsizing sellers and can get our clients a great return on the sale of their home.
